HealthAgentBridge Privacy Policy

1. Health data the app reads

With your permission, the app reads the Apple Health (HealthKit) data types you choose to allow, such as activity, heart, sleep, workouts and routes, body measurements, vital signs, nutrition, mindfulness, ECG, and state of mind. The app only reads health data. It never writes to or changes Apple Health.

2. Where your data is stored

• A copy of the health data you allow is kept in a database inside the app’s private storage on your iPhone, protected by iOS data protection.
• This database is excluded from iCloud and device backups and is never synced to any cloud service.
• The access token for the local network API is stored in the iOS Keychain. Preferences such as language, units, and time format are stored on the device.

3. Local network API

• The query server is off by default and runs only when you turn it on.
• While it runs, it can be reached only from devices on the same local network, and every request must include an access token that only you can see in the app. Resetting the token immediately invalidates the old one.
• The app announces itself on the local network with Bonjour so your devices can find it. The announcement contains only the service name and port, never health data.
• The API uses plain HTTP inside your local network. Use it only on networks you trust.
• The API is read-only. It cannot change data in the app or in Apple Health.

4. Data you share with your own tools

When you give the access token to a script, app, or AI assistant, that tool can read the health data available through the API. You decide which tools receive the token. Once data reaches such a tool, it is handled by that tool and its provider. For example, an AI assistant may send data to its cloud model. Please review their privacy policies before sharing.

5. No collection, tracking, or third parties

• No account or sign-up.
• No analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party SDKs.
• The app does not connect to the internet.
• The developer never uses health data for advertising or marketing, never sells it, and never shares it with third parties.

6. Your choices

• Change or revoke access at any time in Health › Sharing › Apps and Services › HealthBridge.
• Turn off the query server or reset the access token in the app.
• Clear the local database in the app’s Settings.
• Deleting the app permanently removes all of its data from your iPhone.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly process their information.

8. Not medical advice

The app is a data tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
